“ Booking online is highly advised. A deposit is often required which is £10 per person, but during the festive period its £20. Parking available, but also due to a remote location nearby parking is possible. The pub was warm, and well decorated. Service was fast, and the chairs were comfortable. This is a good choice for an evening meal, or a special occasion. To note, there wasn't an open fire. ”

“ Great little place...nicely incommu icado outwith wifi and most comms...but you definitely know you're not going to get disturbed! Food was brilliantly presented, staff were immesnely attentive...but what I really liked were the Dingle Ales served there...along with all the usual suspects. Bar staff were fantastic and didn't wait more than a minute to get served throughout the evening. This place get's my vote...even in the winter it's a great little place for a winter warmer...it's hot be even better int the summer! the outdoor views and air must be fantastic. ”

“ Wonderful restaurant and location. Came back after a friend introduced us to it in the summer and it didn't disappoint. We both had starters and mains and a decent bottle of wine and came in just under £100 which we thought was very reasonable for the quality and diversity of the menu. The staff were nicely attentive, polite and helpful which, in my opinion, can make an average experience into a good one so adding to the quality of the menu this is pretty excellent! Wine menu was nicely varied and priced accordingly. Great decor and ambience throughout with nice seasonal (and tasteful) additions made it a very comfortable experience. Can't wait to see it at Christmas! Well done to the team at The Chequered Skipper! We will be back! ”
